Trinity United Methodist Church in Purcell provided a warming station this past weekend when temperatures hovered in single digits and up to eight inches of snow was recorded.
Pastor Tracy Hoskins reported they served three people.
The church planned to be open until noon on Tuesday.
The church opened the emergency warming shelter beginning Friday, January 23, at 5 p.m. and remained open through Tuesday noon, January 27.
Rev. Hoskins reported 100 blankets, 50 pairs of socks, 20 hats, 20 pairs of gloves, 50-60 items of clothing, 10 pillows, 20 toiletry kits and 10 towels were donated.
Meals were provided for dinner Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner for Saturday and Sunday; and breakfast, lunch and dinner for Monday finishing with breakfast and lunch on Tuesday.
