Posted

Purcell’s Junior High TSA students were recognized at Monday night’s regular monthly meeting of the board of education.

Paul  Wollenberg took 12 TSA students to the state leadership competition in Norman recently and several placed at the conference.

Superintendent Sheli McAdoo said their demonstrations were the highlight of the meeting. Each student spoke to the board as well.

“We are going to continue this program at the high school so Mr. Wollenberg will teach the class at the high school next year,” Dr. McAdoo said. “And we are looking to get career tech certified.”

The board approved several policies recommended by the Oklahoma State School Board Association and the board changed their FEF Student Transfers for children of all school employees and not just teachers.

The board approved a $5,000 stipend to pay Cole Harwell to be the school’s strength and conditioning coach for the 2022-2023 school year.
