TOWN OF GOLDSBY

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Town of Goldsby will conduct a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on June 25, 2026. In addition, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Goldsby will conduct a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on July 9, 2026. Both hearings will be held in the Council Room of the Town of Goldsby, McClain County, Oklahoma.

The purpose of these hearings is to receive public comments regarding a proposed amendment to the Low-Density, Single-Family Residential (R‑1) zoning district. The proposal removes Section 2-9, Permitted Accessory Uses and Structures, item A: “One (1) guest house for each principal residential structure,” from the R‑1 district and adds this use to the R‑10 Uses and Structures Permitted Upon Review.

All interested parties and citizens are invited to attend and will have an opportunity to be heard. The proposed zoning amendment may be examined in the office of the Town Clerk of Goldsby, Oklahoma, by any interested individual.
