ORDINANCE 2026-010

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION, AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, SO AS TO PLACE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LAND, TO-WIT:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

A part of the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Eleven (11), Township Eight (8) North, Range three (3) West, I.M., McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner (SW/C); thence East 663.04 feet; thence North 600.00 feet to a true Point of Beginning, said Point of Beginning being on the East Right-of-Way line of Interstate #35; thence East 668.01 feet; thence North 132.32 feet; thence West 627.39 feet to a Point on the East Right-of-Way line of Interstate #35; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 5579.60 feet, an arc distance of 145.54 feet to the true Point of Beginning

IN THE C-2 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT AND TO REMOVE THE SAME FROM THE PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING DISTRICT OF SAID TOWN.

WHEREAS, the owner of the hereinafter described property made application to the Town of Goldsby to have said property rezoned and removed from the PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT Zoning District and placed in the C-2 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL Zoning District of said Town; and

WHEREAS, said application has been referred to the Planning Commission of said Town, and said Commission, at public meeting, after public hearing, and upon notice by mail and by publication as by law required, considered said application and recommended that the same should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning; and

WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, at public meeting, after public hearing upon notice as by law required, has considered said application and has determined that said application should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA:

Section 1. The Zoning District Designation, as shown on the Official Zoning District Map of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, is hereby amended and changed so as to place the following described property, to-wit:

in the C-2 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL Zoning District and to remove the same from the PUD, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT Zoning District of said Town, and said property is hereby rezoned and placed in the C-2 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL Zoning District.
