ORDINANCE 2026-002

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION, AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA, SO AS TO REMOVE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LAND FROM THE A-1- AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT OF SAID TOWN, AND TO PLACE THE SAME IN THE I-1 - GENERAL INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT OF SAID TOWN:

The following described Tract of Land Lying in Section Eleven (11), Township Eight (8) North, Range Three (3) West of the Indian Meridian, McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows:

A Tract in SE/4 beginning at SW/C SE/4 then N 89°56’21” E a distance of 1099.76 ft as the Point of Beginning;

thence N 47°49’52”’ W a distance of 979.37 feet;

thence N 89°53’25” E a distance of 946.56 feet;

thence S 00°10’13” E a distance of 659.05 feet;

thence S 89°56’21” W a distance of 222.64 feet to the Point of Beginning.

WHEREAS, the owner of the hereinafter described property made application to the Town of Goldsby to have said property rezoned and removed from the A-1 - Agricultural-Residential Zoning District and placed in the I-1 - General Industrial Zoning District of said Town; and

WHEREAS, said application has been referred to the Planning Commission of said Town, and said Commission, at public meeting, after public hearing, and upon notice by mail and by publication as by law required, considered said application and recommended that the same should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning; and

WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, at public meeting, after public hearing upon notice as by law required, has considered said application and has determined that said application should be granted and an ordinance adopted to effect and accomplish said rezoning;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF GOLDSBY, OKLAHOMA:

Section 1. The Zoning District Designation, as shown on the Official Zoning District Map of the Town of Goldsby, Oklahoma, is hereby amended and changed so as to place the following described property, to-wit:

The following described Tract of Land Lying in Section Eleven (11), Township Eight (8) North, Range Three (3) West of the Indian Meridian, McClain County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows:

in the I-1 - General Industrial Zoning District and to remove the same from the A-1 - Agricultural-Residential Zoning District of said Town, and said property is hereby rezoned and placed in the I-1 - General Industrial Zoning District.
