A veteran of the Purcell Schools Support staff has been tabbed as the Purcell Public Schools Support Person of the Year.

Jackie Suchy, who has worked for the past 33 years in service to the school system, has been named by Superintendent Dr. Sheli McAdoo.

Jackie began working for Purcell Public Schools in 1990 and has been going strong ever since.

“Thanks to her sweet granddaughter, Markee Jacks, for her help in surprising Jackie last Friday,” Dr. McAdoo continued.

“As superintendent, I have had the pleasure of working with Jackie for several years. In that time, I have come to know her as a dedicated and hardworking individual who always goes above and beyond in her duties,” she continued.

McAdoo called Suchy an essential member of the Purcell team.

“She has an unwavering commitment to making our schools the best they can be. She consistently demonstrates outstanding customer service skills and a willingness to help others. She is always accessible, friendly and helpful with students, teachers, staff and parents. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for her work are contagious, making everyone feel welcome.” Dr. McAdoo said.

“Through Jackie's hard work and dedication, Purcell Elementary School runs like a well-oiled machine. Her attention to detail helps ensure that our students receive the best possible education, and her efforts have contributed to the overall success of our school district,” the superintendent said.

“On behalf of the Purcell Public Schools community, I want to congratulate Jackie on being named our Support Person of the Year.

“Thank you for all that you do for our students, staff, and families.You are truly an exceptional individual who deserves this recognition and more,” Dr. McAdoo concluded.
