Tony Pierson Johnson died November 2, 2021 in Lexington at the age of 53 years 10 months 23 days. Memorial Services were held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Tony was born December 10, 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jackie Ray “Jack” and Roseland June “Rose” (Brasier) Johnson. He was raised in Lexington, Oklahoma graduating from Lexington High School in 1987.

Tony worked as a maintenance supervisor at Joseph Harp Correctional Center in Lexington, and was a reserve police officer.  He loved hunting, fishing, and riding his four wheeler.  Tony was a die hard Dallas Cowboy’s fan. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, but mostly loved spending time with his family, his grand babies and his two great-nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Rose Johnson; his older brother, RB “Spyke” Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Glen and Christine Brasier; and his paternal grandparents, RB “Jack” and Viola Johnson.

He is survived by his siblings, Jackie Johnson and wife, Cindi, of Lexington, Mark Johnson and wife, Twyla, of Tulsa, Johnny Johnson of Florence, Colo., Kristi Rutherford of Denison, Texas, and Samantha Neher and husband, Beau, of Ogden, Ark.; his daughter, Ashleigh Fernandez and husband, Pedro, of Marietta; his son, Matthew Williams; his grandchildren, Isabella, Isaac, Jordan, Aidenn, Sophia, Ian and Piper; his best friend, Bill Henning and wife, Jenell, of Purcell; his dog, Hank; his niece, Cheyenne Singleton of Lexington; and numerous other niece, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
