Graveside services for Tom Paul Andrews, 80, of Purcell were held Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Washington Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
Mr. Andrews passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at his home.
Tommy was born August 29, 1945 in Washington, Oklahoma, the eighth of ten kids born to Paul and Ola Andrews. He grew up in the Washington Community and attended Washington Public Schools.
On April 8, 1965 Tommy married Sue Owen, and they just celebrated 61 years. They made their home in Purcell where they raised their three kids, Kevin, Darla and Marsha. Together Tommy and Sue enjoyed family gatherings most importantly time with the grandkids, and occasional truck trips together,
Tommy had multiple occupations, naming a few were construction work, service stations, and A&A Tank Truck with his brothers. He finished out with the dairy business and in 1995 he and Kevin bought Dave Meeker Auto and hauled cars together. He enjoyed his time on the road with all his car hauling buddies.
His hobbies included but not limited to, fishing, gold digging, playing dominos, bible study, visiting friends and family, coffee drinking in the afternoon at Kevin’s shop which included giving his best advice of how everyone should be doing their jobs, and provided free business & life consultations.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ola Andrews; siblings, James Andrews, Edith Wells, Mark Andrews, Paulie Andrews and Ruth Kern and one grandson, Kaden Robinson.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Sue Andrews; one son, Kevin Andrews and wife, Lisa, of Purcell; two daughters, Darla Andrews of Purcell and Marsha Sanders and husband, Mark, of Washington; grandchildren, Macey Rayas and husband, Chuy of Kingston, Saylor Kneis and husband, Parker, of Oklahoma City, Sunny Elliott and husband, Aaron, of Yukon and Emma, Hudson and Grady Andrews of Purcell and one great-grandson, Owen Rayas.
