The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into a one vehicle accident at mile marker 92 just before 8:30 a.m. last Friday.
Three Edmond residents were injured in the accident when a northbound 2017 Chevrolet Cruz, driven by Ritesh Podduturi, 24, left the roadway to the right.
He was treated and released at Purcell Municipal Hospital.
Two passengers in the vehicle, 22-year-old Vitrauth Katpally and 25-year-old Sai Kanne were transported by Survival Flight to OU Medical Center and admitted in critical condition.
OHP Trooper Shayne Ballard said the driver was wearing his seatbelt and the two passengers were not.
Ballard was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jarrod Terry, Lt. Andre Rawls, Captain Beamon, Purcell Police and Fire, Wadley’s EMS and Survival Flight.
