The third annual Heart of Oklahoma softball tournament is on tap this weekend.
Games will be split between Purcell and Washington for pool play.
In addition to the two host schools, also in the field are Duncan, Lindsay, Cache, Alva, Blanchard, Bridge Creek, Norman, Bethany and Tuttle.
On Saturday the schedule will be the same at each location with games beginning at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
All games have an 80 minute time limit with the exception of the championship game.
“It’s going to be a very competitive, very high quality tournament, “ Purcell Head Coach Cody Tutwiler said. “It’s going to be a tough one to win, but it’s going to be some good softball to watch. It’s going to be a tough one but exciting in the end.”
