Teddy Joe Mize, born February 11, 1948 in Whitesboro, Okla., went to Heaven December 10, 2021 in Criner, Okla.
Ted loved to be with his grandkids telling fishing and hunting stories, and sharing his life experiences. Ted also loved to play with his great-grandkids. You never saw Ted without his coffee and sweets. Ted always had a garden every year and was very proud of it. When you would go to visit him, you could guarantee he would have a western playing on his television, or be listening to old school country. Ted loved to hunt and fish. Ted loved to be outdoors playing with the dogs and cats, or building things, watching the birds and deer in the fields.
Ted leaves behind two girls, Lisa Stubblefield and her husband, David, and SherriAdams and her husband, Bobby; their mother, Sue Mize; five grandkids, Joe Stubblefield and his wife, Nashea, Michael Miller, Meagan Christie and her husband, Josh, Scott Miller and his wife, Andrezza, and Christopher Stubblefield; 3 great-grandkids, Jaxon Stubblefield, Kyler Stubblefield and Millee Faye Christie; 2 very special nephews Troy Mize and his wife, Robbyn, and Rodney Mize, and many more loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Mize; 3 brothers, Roy Mize, Billy Mize, and John David Mize and 1 sister, Wilma Eslick.
