Purcell recorded .7” from a very noisy thunderstorm that blew through the area around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Other areas got much larger drinks of water with one gauge in Maysville measuring 2.3”.
Dibble got 1.5” followed by Byars with 1.17” and Washington 1.12”.
For the year-to-date Purcell has recorded 19” unofficially with 1.3” falling in July. This time last year Purcell had received 38.54”.
The normal year-to-date total here is 24.11”.
