Smoking tree

A power pole south of Purcell on SH 74 fell over into some trees causing the trees to smolder and catch fire Tuesday just after 10 a.m. Purcell Firefighters secured the scene and made sure no grass fire was started until OGE crews arrived to take care of the power lines. An ODOT unit had been brush hogging in the area but no one was injured from the falling pole.
