Funeral services for Sharron “Sue” Owen Andrews, 80, of Purcell were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Goldsby Church. Interment was at the Washington Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Andrews passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at her home.
Sue was born March 14, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the third of four children born to Grady and Eunice Owen. She attended Johnson School through the sixth grade, and then completed her education at Purcell Schools.
April 8, 1965 Sue married Tommy Andrews, and they made their home in Purcell, Oklahoma. She found her happiness in being a homemaker, but also worked in in the County Clerk’s Office at McClain County Courthouse, A&A Tank Truck, and retired from the Oklahoma State Board of Engineers & Land Surveyors.
As a homemaker, Sue was known for being a wonderful cook, which included her famous cinnamon rolls and homemade bread. Her favorite things in life were taking care of her kids and grandkids, spending time with her sisters, going to church and being a servant to others.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Andrews; her parents, Grady and Eunice Owen; one brother, Tommy Owen and one grandson, Kaden Robinson.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Andrews and wife, Lisa, of Purcell; two daughters, Darla Andrews of Purcell and Marsha Sanders and husband, Mark, of Washington; grandchildren, Macey Rayas and husband, Chuy, of Kingston, Saylor Kneis and husband, Parker, of Oklahoma City, Sunny Elliott and husband, Aaron, of Yukon and Emma, Hudson and Grady Andrews of Purcell; two great-grandsons, Owen Rayas and Callahan Elliott; two sisters, Phyllis Bennett of Purcell and Beverly Price and husband, Lewis, of Purcell, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Bryan Dye and staff with Valor Hospice, and countless others who helped us take care of our parents through this journey. It has been greatly appreciated.
