Sharon Lee Castleman died September 25, 2021 in Wanette, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years 6 months 11 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Wanette First Baptist Church, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Sharon was born March 14, 1938 in Arnold, Nebraska, to Everett and Margaret (Fowler) Clark. She was raised and attended school in Casper, Wyoming.

On September 4, 1954,  she married Paul Dean Castleman. They moved to Oklahoma in 1974, making their home in Wanette. Sharon and Paul celebrated 62 long and happy years together, before Paul’s passing in 2017. Paul and Sharon raised four daughters and one son, and were very active  members of the First Baptist Church in Wanette, Oklahoma, for 47 years.

Sharon loved and served her Lord and Savior. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and participated at Falls Creek, as well as cleaning the church for many years. Sharon loved fellowship and worship with her church family.

She enjoyed mowing her yard and tending to her flowers, and was the definition of a handy man. Sharon also enjoyed traveling, anywhere. She loved her family, and was responsible for wonderful family gatherings at her home, which will be sadly missed.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Margaret Clark; her husband, Paul Dean Castleman; and her daughter, Linda Howen.

She is survived by her daughters, Margie Schafer, Karen Martin and husband,  Rick, and Debbie Snow; son, Gary Castleman and wife, Terrie; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; her special friends, Sharon Mathis and Wanda Henry; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
