Norman North junior Coty Sessions wrestled her way to an OSSAA State Championship in the 110 pound weight division at the State Meet last weekend at Jim Norick Arena in Oklahoma City.
Sessions, who finished with a sparkling 35-1 record this year, won her first match in the tournament in a 6-2 decision before pinning her semifinal and finals opponents.
She had the best record in 6A in the 110 pound category and was only defeated by an out-of-state wrestler in a Texas tournament.
