The 1.8” of rain that fell June 27 put Purcell over the normal yearly rainfall in only six months.
In the month of June alone, Purcell recorded 10.2” of rain hiking the yearly total to 37.54”.
The normal yearly rainfall for this part of Oklahoma is 36.52”.
At Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City 28.50” of rain has been recorded this year.
