Purcell softball on hold due to COVID-19

Purcell’s fast-pitch softball season has been put on hold due to several players in quarantine due to COVID-19.

Consequently, Tuesday’s game against Pauls Valley and the Dale/Tecumseh tournament have been scratched for now.

Head coach Sarah Jones said the game with Harrah, that was halted due to inclement weather, will be finished September 16 and the Pauls Valley games will be made up September 29.

“Our goal this week is to work on ourselves and decide what team we want to be when we are able to play again,” Jones said.

Purcell is scheduled to travel to Cache Monday and host McGuinness on Tuesday.
