The National Honor Society Chapter at Purcell High School has a long tradition of honoring our military veterans each November 11.
COVID-19 has disrupted our custom, but we will still honor our veterans in a safe way for everyone.
Students and staff at Purcell High School will be recording videos to thank our veterans, which will be compiled into a movie and released on several platforms Veterans Day: PHS Facebook page and Purcell Public Schools website at purcellps.org.
If you would like to submit your own video, please send it to Liz Leonard, NHS sponsor, at leonardl@purcellps.org by Friday, November 6.
NHS members are also creating care packages for active-duty military with ties to PHS.
If you have the name and address of a military member whom we could honor with a care package, please email Liz Leonard with their name and address at leonardl@purcellps.org by November 9.
Most of all, PHS National Honor Society members want to thank all those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Everyone will be eternally grateful.
