Take note, all who thrive on planning ahead.

There are only 43 days (give or take) until Purcell’s citywide garage sale.

What that means is now is probably a good time to sort through your stuff, setting aside those items you can live without.

Because sure as God made little green apples, there’s someone out there  who won’t be able to live without it and is willing to pay for it.

This year’s two-day garage sale bonanza will be May 7 and 8.

The Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is again compiling a map for all the shoppers and bargain hunters.

The deadline to be listed on the map will be May 3. 

By that date, the chamber needs the following information from you: name, address, date(s) of your garage sale and contact telephone number.

Plans are for the map to be available on May 5, giving bargain hunters insight where they want to shop.
