Presidents’ Day closings

Presidents’ Day is Monday and that means a holiday for many.

There will be no classes at schools across the area, but with the day set aside for professional development or parent-teacher conferences, faculty will be working at Purcell, Washington, Wayne and Mid-America Technology Center.

The closings extend to city offices in Purcell, Lexington, Washington, Wayne and Goldsby.

Also closed will be federal and state offices, as well as the McClain County Courthouse. There will be no mail delivery on Monday.

Purcell Public Library will be open while both First United Bank and McClain Bank will be closed.
