The polling place for Precinct 440007 has changed, Karen Haley, Secretary of the McClain County Election Board announced.

Voters in Precinct 440007 formerly voted at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 25035 State Highway 59 in Wayne. Effective immediately, voters will cast their ballots at Precinct 440003, Mid-America Technology Center, 27438 State Highway 59, in Wayne.

No elections are scheduled, at this time, that would affect these voters. Voters will receive new Voter ID Cards showing their new polling place.

The polling location was moved due to changes in redistricting and a growing number of voters in the area. The Technology Center will provide more room for voters, be handicap accessible, and provide a paved parking area.
