The NTSB and FAA are continuing the investigation into a fatal plane crash in Goldsby last Monday morning.
McClain County Sheriff Landy Offolter said the two Wisconsin men killed in the crash were Bruce Fischer and Mike Kugel.
Goldsby Firefighters reported the two men were killed in a single private plane crash in Goldsby just before 11 a.m.
Witnesses told first responders the plane crashed on take off from Paradise Air Haven Airport south of Goldsby.
Offolter was told they took off and started having equipment problems and were trying to turn around and go back to the air strip.
After the plane crashed it burst into flames before being extinguished by firefighters.
The crash is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the McClain County Sheriff’s Department started the initial investigation before turning it over the federal authorities.
