Paul Edward Farley, 86, of Lexington passed away February 17, 2026 in Lexington. Paul was born at home in Slaughterville on June 29, 1939, the son of George Paul Farley and Margaret Mary Farley (Feuerborn).
He graduated from Lexington High School in 1957. He joined the wheat harvest north then did his “Pilgrimage” to California working the harvest from Tiajuana to Moses Lake Washington. He returned to Lexington in 1959 to marry Imagene Baze on Oct. 24, 1959.
Mr. Farley moved to Colorado in 1962 to work in the oil fields and then construction, raising three kids there, Manning J., Paula LeAnne and Quanah M., and moved back to Lexington in 1983 working in construction and helped raise his grandchildren, retiring in 2002.
He was a regular at the corner of the “Coffee Shop” dispensing wit, wisdom and jokes about a red bicycle.
He is survived by his son, Manning Farley; grandchildren, Brian, Blake and April Farley and their children; brother, Jerry Farley and wife, Ramona; sister, Mary Brooks; sister-in-law, Pauline Tarp, and many nieces and nephew.
