Pair of 2nds

Purcell had a pair of Canadian Valley Conference runners-up in their recent track meet at Pauls Valley.

Gracie Pruitt was second in the 200 meter dash with a time of  27.2.

The 400 meter quartet of Hannah Whitaker, Avery McWhirter, Jenna Avery and Pruitt legged a 52.8 to finish second in that event.

Kenna Esparza was third in the 100 meters in 13.3 and the 800 meter relay was third in 1:55.25. That foursome consisted of Whitaker, McWhirter, Avery and Pruitt.

Tinley Winters was fourth in the 100 meter hurdles in 17.84 and the 1600 meter relay team of Whitaker, McWhirter, Avery and Winters was fourth in 4:36.
