There are openings at the top for the Lil’ Dragons Food Pantry and the Purcell Alumni Association.
John and Pam Hobbs have been filling the bill for these two institutions but they have decided to retire.
“Many children in Purcell Schools do not have enough food,” Hobbs said. “Surplus food “extra” is needed.”
Hobbs, who has helped run the pantry since 2014, said they are always looking for donations.
The most requested items at the pantry are rice, peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, powdered milk, pasta and infant formula.
Many children in Purcell Schools do not have enough food. Surplus food “extra” is needed. Please help us raise the food for our kids, he said.
Hobbs said they have headed the alumni association since 2003.
“It’s time to retire,” he confirmed.
Hobbs is currently looking for a successor. Anyone interested should contact him.
