Purcell Police Officer Jason Baca, Sr., has resigned from the police force here as of Monday, according to Purcell Police Captain James Bolling.

Baca is under investigation by both Purcell Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) for sexual battery on a 37-year-old woman.

OSBI agents report they have been contacted by three other women with similar stories.

Baca was on paid administrative leave until his resignation.

Bolling told The Purcell Register for information regarding any pending charges related to officer Baca to contact the District Attorney’s office or the OSBI.
