Last Friday, August 7, OEC electric power was cut from several residences east of Lexington for just over 1 1/2 hours.

The outage was from 3:50 p.m. to 5:27 p.m.

OEC Vice President of Member Engagement Autumn McMahon reported the company did not show any outage in that area on Friday.

However, an OEC customer and resident who lives near there said approximately 16-18 residences were affected.

Power was restored and there were no other reports of electric failure.
