Recycle Bin Located at The Convenience Center
Recycle Box - General lnformation

  • Location: 701 S. 6th Ave. in Purcell
  • Open 24/7
  • For Purcell Citizens Only
  • Recycle Bin Emptied Every Thursday Morning (unavailable for approximately one hour)
  • Accepted items: Cardboard, Plastic, Aluminum

Acceptable:

Accepted Cardboard—Corrugated cardboard, shipping boxes, cereal boxes, dry food boxes, shoe boxes, tissue boxes, moving boxes, detergent boxes, soda/beer cartons, and paper towel/toilet tissue rolls. All boxes must be broken down and flattened.

Accepted Plastic—Plastic bottles and jar #1-#7, soft drink bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles, flattened cartons with recycling symbols #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 in the bin is acceptable. All oil bottles/buckets must be cleaned out.

Accepted Aluminum—Beer cans, pop cans, pie and baking pans.

Unacceptable:

  • Do not contaminate! No grease-soaked cardboard, no paint cans, no aerosol cans.
  • All plastic bottles must be rinsed out.
  • No Household trash.
  • Please do not dump items on the ground or on top of the recycle bin when full.

What cannot be put in Recycle Box:

  • Paper (shredded, newspaper, magazines, catalogs, books, etc.)
  • Styrofoam
  • Glass
  • Mirrors
  • Electronics (tv’s and computers)
  • Yard waste
  • Chemical containers
  • Ceramics or dishes
  • Food waste
  • Scrap metal
  • Monitors
