Purcell’s new city treasurer is settling into his new position.

Wynn Tyson-Kramer reports he is proud to serve as the treasurer for Purcell.

A resident of Norman, Tyson-Kramer originally comes from the small town of Butler, Alabama, home to just 1,800 people, where he developed a deep appreciation for the values of small-town life, community connection and neighborly support.

Tyson-Kramer brings six years of experience in financial management across both the private and public sectors.

Most recently, he served as a financial manager with the State of Oklahoma, where he oversaw financial operations for numerous state agencies with a combined budget of nearly $800 million.

His expertise in budgeting, fiscal oversight and responsible stewardship of public resources prepared him well for his new role in Purcell.

Tyson-Kramer accepted the position as city treasurer because he believes his direct experience and financial expertise can make a lasting impact on the community.

His vision is to ensure that Purcell is well-positioned for sustainable growth, progressing at a pace that meets the needs of residents while preserving the character and values that make Purcell unique.

He is committed to serving with transparency, integrity and accessibility.

“My office is always open and I want the people of Purcell to know they will always have a voice with me,” Tyson-Kramer said.

With strong financial leadership and a passion for community, Wynn looks forward to helping Purcell grow and flourish for years to come.
