Naomi Jean Law

Naomi Jean Law died June 28, 2022, in Noble, Okla., at the age of 74 years 7 months 10 days. A Celebration of Life Service was held Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. 

Jean was born November 18, 1947, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Martin and Stella (Lee) Roberts. She was raised in Tribbey and attended school in Noble. Jean married Richard Michael Fisher, and they had four children. She later married John Edward “Ed” Law and were together until his passing in 2011.

Jean started her career in law enforcement in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where she was promoted to detective and was one of the first female law enforcement officers in Grady County.  Jean took psychology and criminal justice classes at USAO in Chickasha.

She has lived all over the country, including Alaska, Virginia, and New York, where she attended college majoring in Animal Husbandry.  Jean ended her career journey being very proud of her position in hospitality management.

She also loved to travel, take care of animals, crochet, cook and watching “Family Feud” with Steve Harvey, but above all else, Jean loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Stella Roberts; her husband, Richard Michael Fisher; her husband, John Edward “Ed” Law; her brothers, Riley Roberts, Jack Roberts, Tom Roberts and wife, Sonya, and Robert “Bob” Roberts and wife, Wilma; her grandson, Cody Parks; and her brothers-in-law, Dan Collier and Sonny Carlson.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Conly and husband, Michael; her daughter, Michelle Lady and husband, Bryan; her son, Richard Fisher Jr. and wife, Elizabeth; her daughter, Kathleen Fisher; her 11 grandchildren, Rhys Conly and spouse, Zach Salas, Ian Conly, Georgia Fisher, Thomas Fisher, Christopher Lady, Amanda Schmidt and husband, Scott, Dawna Fox and husband, Christopher, Tabitha Hamilton and husband, Michael, Alexia Gillard and husband, Jake, Ariel Roundtree and Ayla Parks; her eight great-grandchildren, Owen, Sara, Mille, Emma, Riley, Hayden, Kayde, Andrew and baby Owen on the way; her siblings, Norma Collier and Dean Carlson; and sister-in-law, June Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
