Graveside funeral services for Nadine Keith, 94, of Washington were held Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Washington Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Keith passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Lovetta Nadine Fox was born September 26, 1928 in Washington, Okla., one of four daughters born to William Parker Fox and R. Delpha (Taylor) Fox. She was raised in Purcell and attended Purcell schools, graduating with the Dragon Class of 1947.  In high school, Nadine was a standout athlete for the Lady Dragons Basketball team.

She met a young man from neighboring Washington named Dennis Lowell Keith. They married and together raised five children, sons, Lowell, Darrell, Kenny, Kirt and daughter, Beverly. While the kids were young, Nadine stayed home, caring and providing for their every need.

She later worked for Washington Public Schools in the cafeteria as the head cook. She retired as manager after more than 15 years of dedicated service. Nadine’s love for sports stayed with her throughout life, as she greatly enjoyed following and cheering for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was very instrumental at the Washington Senior Center, planning and organizing community events, quilting and playing dominos with dear friends.

She later married Kenneth Andrews. They enjoyed four years of marriage, before his passing in 2016. She was a wonderful mother, the best grandmother and great-grandmother and an excellent example for many. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: her grandson, Kody Keith and granddaughter, Kelly Koenig Wilbanks; husbands, Dennis Lowell Keith and Kenneth Ray Andrews; sons, Kenny Keith and Lowell Keith; her parents, William and Delpha Fox and siblings, Myrna McClard, Billie Faye Keith and Sharon Mitchell.

Nadine is survived by her daughter, Beverly Koenig and husband, Billy, of Newalla; two sons, Darrell Keith and wife, Lori, of Washington and Kirt Keith and wife, Carol, of Washington; daughter-in-law, Nancy Keith of Washington; 11 grandchildren, D’Ray Beauchamp and husband, Brandon, Lana Bradshaw, Karisa Wilson and husband, Gary, Kenny Keith and wife, Leslie, Misty McKiddy and husband, Greg, Brandy Flowers and husband, Charley, Seth Koenig and wife, Courtney, Kayla Koenig, Derik Keith and wife, Crys, Kalli Keith and Philip Marrow; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
