It happens every holiday whether it’s Easter or Christmas.

When it’s time to eat a holiday meal the fancy napkins come out.

The  bad thing is those holiday napkins are like backs on a duck.

Moisture resistant.

Between the NIL and transfer portal, college football ain’t what she used to be.

It’s so bad that Marshall had to decline to play in their bowl game against Army because they didn’t have enough players still on the roster.

University officials said due to the transfers they didn’t have enough players for their team to be safe.

Sheesh!

A friend of mine said it is just like the NFL without a salary cap.

Another buddy said it’s not a team sport anymore. Not a culture. It’s a turnstile.

Opening Christmas presents is serious business for the younger set.

They weren’t interested in what was being prepared for lunch or to even allow their grandmother to put the finishing touches on the meal.

The kids made a beeline for the Christmas tree and the presents on the carpet underneath it.

And once they start unwrapping it’s a frenzy.

It was more fun watching them unwrap the gifts than actually unwrapping my own.

The President and First Lady are vacationing in St. Croix for the third year in a row for New Years.

It’s been reported Biden has taken 570 vacation days while serving in the White House.

I’d like a job where everything is taken care of for you and you are only in the office 40 percent of the time.
