After some handoff issues in the 400 meter relay, Purcell’s girls performed better as the day wore on in the Lindsay Track meet last Tuesday.
“We didn’t get off to a very good start in the short relay, having a hard time getting clean handoffs,” head coach Greg Dillard said.
“I thought we bounced back well after we had a meeting of the minds. The 800 meter relay and the 1600 meter relay teams ran very well considering the wind conditions.”
