The annual Purcell Memorial Day service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hillside Cemetery.
Navy Veteran Doug McClain will be the featured speaker.
McClain, who lives near Wayne, is a native Oklahoman, a career Navy officer and aviator, a former Blue Angel pilot and he retired as a rear admiral after 31 years service.
Wesley Samuel with Landmark Church will present the invocation.
The cemetery will be adorned with patriotic touches and flags will be placed on the graves of service men and women prior to the ceremony.
Hundreds of flags are in need of replacement and anyone wishing to donate to replace the flags can mail a check to Jay Tate at P.O. Box 13 in Purcell, OK 73080.

An honor guard will provide a gun salute at the ceremony, with Cpl. Kyle Mobley, MPO Jeremy Pittman, Ofc. Daniel Fumi, Ofc. Jacob Martz and Ofc. Trent Houck comprising the guard.
The whole event will also be livestreamed on Facebook. The Facebook page is “Purcell Memorial Day Veterans Ceremony”.
