Board of McClain County Board of McClain County Commissioners met in special session on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 8:15 a.m. in Room 111 of the McClain County Courthouse. Vice Chairman Terry Daniel called the meeting to order. County Clerk Rebekah Couch called the roll and those present were: Vice Chairman Terry Daniel, Member Glen Murray, and District One Foreman Richard Ward, representing Chairman Wilson Lyles in his absence.

Glen Murray moved, Richard Ward seconded to approve Resolution No. 35-2025-2026 accepting monetary funds in the amount of $75,000.00 from Chickasaw Nation for the McClain County Drug Court Donation Fund to assist those struggling with substance abuse. Vote Aye: Murray, Ward, Daniel. Motion carried.
Glen Murray moved to approve Form 969 in the amount of $628,847.00 against McClain County and the school districts therein for loss of revenue due to the Veterans and Surviving Spouse Exemption allowed for the year 2026, Richard Ward seconded. Vote Aye: Murray, Ward, Daniel. Motion carried.
Glen Murray moved to approve of invoices for Crafton Tull for professional services rendered through 1/19/2026 for May Avenue Resurfacing of 6,808.75 for Districts Two & Three; for 240th Resurfacing of $6,707.50 for District Three; and 170th Grade Drain & Surface of $25,000.00 for District One; payments made through CBRI, Richard Ward seconded. Glen Murray moved, Richard Ward seconded to approve Resolution No. 34-2025-2026 to establish within the County Clerk and Treasurers Office a new USE Tax-ST Fund. Vote Aye: Murray, Ward, Daniel. Motion carried.
