January marks School Board Recognition Month, and Mid-America Technology Center (MATC) is proud to join schools across Oklahoma in honoring the commitment and leadership of their elected board members.
This statewide observance highlights the invaluable contributions of more than 2,500 school board members who play a crucial role in shaping the future of public education.
“Our school board members not only dedicate their time but also lend their vision and voice to guide the direction of Oklahoma public education,” said Superintendent Mike Eubank. “We are incredibly proud of our board members and their unwavering commitment to making our district the best it can be.”
The Mid-America Technology Center Board of Education was recognized during its January meeting. The board members serving the MATC district include Michael Dillinger, Doyle Greteman, Joe Ray and Donna Stokes.
“School Board Recognition Month is a special time to acknowledge and thank our local board of education for their hard work and dedication,” added Superintendent Eubank.
MATC’s board members are tasked with developing policies and making challenging decisions on complex educational and social issues that impact the entire district. Their efforts are instrumental in ensuring the success of students and the community.
As part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system, MATC is one of 29 technology center districts offering a wide range of programs and services. CareerTech is a key driver in creating a world-class workforce for Oklahoma employers while empowering individuals to succeed in the workplace, education, and life.
