Marlow’s No. 2 ranked Outlaws pinned a 63-20 loss on the Purcell Dragons at Marlow last Friday ending the Dragons’ 2021 football season.
The Outlaws built a commanding 35-0 lead at the end of the first period, eventually taking a 56-0 lead into halftime.
Two of Purcell’s three touchdowns came via a Creed Smith pass to Titus Mason.
The first one covered 17 yards followed by a 20-yarder .
Smith closed out Purcell’s scoring on an 18-yard jaunt in the fourth.
Mason ended the night with 95 receiving yards. Jose Tarango finished with 30 receiving yards and Jose Ochoa had one catch for 17 yards.
Smith rushed for 142 yards to go with his 88 yards passing.
Ryker Fink returnedfrom an injury to rush for 63 yards in the game.
“They came out and hit us in the mouth and we didn’t respond,” Purcell Head Coach Tracy Scott said.
The first round playoff loss ended Purcell’s season at 6-5.
