A Celebration of Life Memorial for Marilyn Johnson, 85, of Norman was held Dec. 21, 2021 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Johnson died Dec. 16, 2021 at Integris Hospice House.
Marilyn Sue Smith was born Dec. 29, 1935 in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Lewis Arling Smith and Floriene Evelyn (Bedigrew) Dean.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Banta and husband, John, of Norman; son, Richard Johnston and wife, Margarita, of Huntsville, Texas; stepchildren, Kay Lynn Drake of Tulsa, Pattie Neuroth of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Alan Johnson; sister, Shirley Gallaher of Yukon, Okla.; brother, Brad Smith of Tulsa; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
