“In the loss to Crossings Christian we say goodbye to a large class of seniors,” head coach Matt Lohn said.
“It’s a group that did a tremendous job of buying in to our culture and establishing our standard of play.
“Canaan Colburn and Kyler Rangel were our stabilizers at the point, getting us to the right spots and executing at a high clip.
“Our other guards, Alexis Rojo and Ryder Ward, played their roles very well, whether it was Rojo knocking down a shot off the bench or Ryder guarding the heck out of the other team’s best guard.
“Jaime Resendiz was our bell cow over the last two seasons with his ability to score at many levels and Maddox Ward was a utility for us in his ability to guard and play three or four different positions.
“Then you have the guys who exemplify the word team in Deaken Dobbins, Owen Milner and Shiv Patel.
“Dobbins provided some good minutes off the bench at various junctures of the season after taking a year off from hoops. Owen and Shiv both did not see the time they may have liked, but both always showed up ready to work and get better.
“There are no better examples of commitment than these two. All of these seniors have left a legacy that will guide our path next season. I am eternally grateful to each of them and their parents for the honor of coaching them. They are Dragons forever,” Lohn concluded.
