Little wins pole vault at PV

Ronan Little was the pole vault champion at Pauls Valley last week.

His vault of 15’ topped the field.

Purcell’s 400 meter relay foursome finished fourth at the Pauls Valley meet last week.

The quartet of Noel Chavez, Ronan Little, Xander Springael and Devan Martin legged 46.62.

Springael was fourth in the 200 with a time of 24.05. Devan Martin ran a 26.27 and Zac Vermillion turned in a time of 27.64.

The Dragon 1600 meter relay team of Chavez, Bryson Teel, Martin and Springael finished ninth in 3:53.06.

Purcell’s 3200 meter relay foursome of Gavin Johnson, Josh Hamilton, Teel and Chavez finished 10th in 10:18.

Little was 11th in the 100 meters 10.98 while Martin finished 17th in 12.26.

Springael was fourth in the 200 in 24.05. Martin was clocked at 26.27 and Vermillion in 27.64.

Martin finished seventh in the 400 with a time of 55.61. Fernando Resendiz clocked a 69.01. Resendiz was timed at 2:37 in the 800 with Johnson coming in at the 2:40 mark.

Erick Suarez was 12th in the 1600 meters with a time of 5:28. Josh Hamilton turned in a time of 5:33 and Johnson crossed the finish line in 6:01. Springael was 19th in the long jump with a 17’6” effort. Colt Taylor was 16th with a leap of 16’5”.

Zicorrie Davis was 10th in the shot put with a 38’2.5” effort. Hayden Ice was right on his heels with a 38’1” heave. Parker Page had a 35’3.5” effort.
