Funeral services for Linda Parker, 76, of Lexington will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
Mrs. Parker passed away on December 8, 2025 in Purcell.
Linda Ann Brown was born in Trousdale, Okla., on March 3, 1949 to Delbert Henry Brown and Ida Lee Brown (Peltier). She grew up in the Lexington area, attended school there and graduated with the Bulldog Class of 1967.
She met a young Air Force Sergeant named Glen Dale Parker; they quickly fell in love and were married on October 28, 1967 in Cordell where they made their home. The young couple soon moved back to Lexington and have called it home ever since.
Linda held several jobs over the years including working at the University of Oklahoma and the United States Postal Training Center, but her favorite job was caring for her family as a homemaker. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, and grandma who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Ida Brown; her sister, Bernice Murrah; brother, Charles Brown; brothers-in-law, Sam Fender, Roy Robinette, Ray Murrah and Phil McMillan and sisters-in-law, Judy Brown and Barbara Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Parker of Lexington; her daughter, Ann Marie Raines of Goldsby; and her siblings, Billy Brown of Wanette, Donnie Brown and wife, Marsha, of McLoud, Wanda Robinette of Little Axe, Jean Fender of Ada and Tina McMillan of Lexington. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Taylor Langford, Chase Langford and Cruz Raines and six great-grandchildren.
