Linda Marie Lansdale died May 9, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years 1 month 25 days. Graveside services were held Monday, May 16, 2022 at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made at www.wadleysfuneralservice.com.
Linda was born March 15, 1948, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Dallas and Beatrice (Barnett) Husted. She was raised in Wayne, Oklahoma graduating around 1966.
On May 13, 1967, Linda and Albert Lansdale were united in marriage in Purcell, where they made their home. They were married for almost 39 years before Albert’s passing in 2006.
Linda enjoyed fishing, dancing, traveling and going to church. She liked to visit with her friends, window shop, and stopping at a good garage sale. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed Karaoke with her son, Albert.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Husted; her mother, Beatrice Bratcher; her husband, Albert Lansdale; her sisters, Gerald Dean Lehman and Rosa Funtz; and her granddaughter, Thallma Dawn Turner.
Survivors include her daughter, Lanava Lansdale; her son, Albert Lansdale Jr.; her seven grandchildren, Cory Turner, Benjerman Turner, Michael Turner Sr., Emily Edmondson, Suanne Damron, Trenton Lansdale and Sierra Northington; her five great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Trinity, Harmony, Elijah, Kaidence; her sister, Ollie Kane; and numerous other relatives and friends.
