Lexington’s homecoming will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. prior to the football game with Little Axe. Kickoff for the game is set for 7 p.m.
The homecoming parade begins at 1:30 p.m.
The homecoming court consists of Caydn Krueger for football, Layken Carr for cheer, Boston Huffert for cross country, Lexie Torres for fast-pitch, Issac Martin and Cayden Boatwright for powerlifting, Hunter Paulus and Katelyn Sieja for band, Micaiah Downs and Elliena Hicks for show choir, Triston Hamm and Kimberly Miner for e-sports, Talynn Speckman and Joseph Miner for TSA, Cameron Haley and Courtney Dicksion for career tech and Sarah Potts for FCCLA.
The flower girls will be Grayson Ray and Ainslee Ray while Eli Scott will serve as crown bearer.
Krueger is the son of Chelsey and Jeff Fish and Lannis and Jerry Wallace.
Krueger plays football and baseball and attends MATC. He was voted defensive player of the year in football.
He plans to go to OSU-OKC for two years and become a lineman.
His favorite quote is, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” by Theodore Roosevelt.
Carr is the daughter of Tisha and Chris Privett and Steve and Madonna Carr.
She is on the principal’s honor roll, a two time All Star J&C Camp and a MCDA National Champion.
In addition to cheerleading, she is a concurrent student at Rose State.
She plans to attend OSU-OKC to earn her associates in cardiovascular sonography.
Her favorite quote is, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” by Walt Disney.
Huffert is the son of Eric and Andrea Huffert.
He is in the National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and is a state medalist in the 1600 meters. The five time state qualifier owns the school record in the 1600, 800, 4x800 relay, 3200 and 5K.
In addition to track he is the captain of the cross country team.
He plans to compete at the collegiate level and earn a degree in radiology.
His favorite quote is, “To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift,” by Steve Prefontain.
Torres is the daughter of Joe and Cari Torres.
She is in the honor society, superintendent’s honor roll, an MATC student ambassador, National Technical Honor Society, scholar athlete, track MVP, All District outfielder, All-Conference basketball.
She plans to attend college and earn a degree in nursing to become a nurse practitioner.
Her favorite quote is from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Martin is the son Allison and Jeremy Landusan.
He is a two-time state powerlifter, a five time Player of the Week.
In addition to powerlifting he plays football.
He plans to go to college and become a physical therapy assistant.
His favorite quote is from Higher Up wellness, “Do it sad. Do it mad. Do it tired but no matter what always show up.”
Boatwright is the daughter of Victor Boatwright, Tynna Legett and Joshua Woods.
She is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
She plans to go to OU, travel the world and once retired through the military become a powerlifting coach and counselor.
“Take it to the limit,” by the Eagles is her favorite quote.
Paulus is the son of Terri Paulus, Uhrich Paulus, Stacy Paulus and Terry Cliett.
He is a guard captain and top color guard in 3A.
His activities include annoying his parents at their work.
He intends to earn a bachelors degree, build his own car and find a plan for life.
His favorite quote is, “You’re only given one little spark of madness. You musn’t lose it” by Robin Williams.
Seija is the daughter of Marybeth Cuttill and Evan Cuttill.
She is the drum major and has competed at district and state solo and ensemble. She was a finalist at the OEC speech contest. She is on the superintendent’s honor roll, in NHS and OHS.
She participated in the pre-engineering program at MATC, is vice president of FCCLA, is a member of the academic team, a member of student council and serves as a tutor for other students.

Downs is the son of Joe and Talsie Downs.
Honors and awards include All-State mixed choir, best male soloist at Fame Orlando, Lex ECOCDA honor choir member and Oklahoma Christian scholarship recipient.
He participates in football, powerlifting, bow hunting and is a song leader at Southern Ridge Church of Christ.
He plans to attend Oklahoma Christian University to earn a degree in exercise science and study physical therapy.

Hicks is the daughter of Tamara Hicks and Ed Hicks.
She is a member of NHS, made ECOCDA all of high school, made second round of All-State, made 1’s on all solos throughout high school and has multiple first place in talent show awards.
She has been in band for five years and vocal for five years, is in show choir and art and has volunteered at the animal shelter.
She plans to start a mobile dog grooming service and to go to college for a business and music degree.
Her favorite quote is, “It won’t happen over night but if you quit,it won’t happen at all.”
Hamm is the son of Trentice and Becky.
He is in Gifted and Talented, National Honor Society, is on the superintendent’s and principal’s honor roll four years.
He plays basketball, baseball, is in show choir and esports.
He plans to go to college for business management or the union electrical trade school.
His favorite quote is, “Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination,” by Drake.
Speckman is the daughter of Nicole and Andy Wise and Coleman and Ashley Speckman.
She is in cheer, show choir and the soccer club.
She is torn between mechanics and cosmetology.
Her favorite quote is from the Serenity prayer, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Haley is the son of Chris and Jennifer.
He is a three-year starter on the high school baseball team, FCA leader and many other accomplishments.
In addition to baseball, he enjoys hunting and fishing and play golf.
His favorite quote is, “What we do in life echoes in eternity,” by Maximus Decimus Meridius.
Dicksion is the daughter of Eugene Dicksion and Denise Dicksion.
She is in National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
She attends MATC and volunteers with the blood institute.
Her favorite quote is from Mahatma Ghandi, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
J. Miner is the son of Sheila Amendt.
He is on the principal’s honor roll and has not been tardy for three years in a row.
He plans to be an IT technician and a video game voice actor.
His favorite quote is from Hollyberry Cookie, “If you fall, you get up again.”
K. Miner is the daughter of Shelia Amendt and Phillip Miner.
Her awards are for vocal and show choir and on a solo in vocal.
Her plans are to become a gymnastics coach and stay with my mom and take care of her.

Potts is the daughter of Amy and Steven Potts.

G. Ray is the daughter of Tiffani and Tony Bertolozzi and Tyler and Taylor Ray.
She is in Mrs. Pack’s kindergarten and is in Little League, cheer and tumbling.
She wants to be a cheerleader when she is older.
