Monday’s observance of Labor Day means a long weekend ahead for many area residents.
City offices will be closed in Purcell, Lexington, Washington, Wayne and Goldsby. The Post Office will be closed and there will be no mail delivery. The McClain County Courthouse will be closed along with state and federal offices.
Among private businesses closed on Monday will be The Purcell Register, McClain Bank and First United Bank.
