Memorial services for Kenneth Lynn Sugg, 64, of Lexington will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Christian Life Assembly in Lexington. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. Sugg passed away on October 19, 2021.
Kenny was born the oldest of four, on November 25, 1956 in Paris, Texas, to Dewie Sugg and Johnnie Sugg (Banks).
Kenny made his home in Oklahoma in the 1970s, finally settling in Lexington in the early 1990s. Kenny spent over 30 years working for York and Johnson Controls, retiring as a shipping supervisor. After retiring from York and Johnson Controls, he worked part time for Oklahoma Trucks Direct.
He was a quiet and unassuming man to look at, but beneath that exterior Kenny was a fierce protector of his family and those he loved. He was a man of great faith attending New Life, and later Christian Life Assembly for many years. He will be dearly missed.
Kenny was preceded in death by his son, Kristopher Sugg; his father, Dewie Sugg; his mother, Johnnie McNutt and stepfather, W.D. McNutt; two brothers, Donnie McNutt and Bobby McNutt; and sister, Sandra Wages.
He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Sugg of Harrah, David McNutt and wife, Rose, of Pauls Valley and Larry McNutt and wife, Connie, of Pauls Valley; sister, Lisa Shahan and husband, Dennis, of Newcastle and Penny Willhite of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Roger McNutt and Tommy Martinez of Lakeside, California; his grandchildren, Macy Burns and husband, Jimmy, Raven Rapp and husband, Chris, and Kris Sugg; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Piper and little Declan on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
