A Celebration of the Life of Jordyne Doyal, 35, of Purcell was held Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Life.Church in Norman. Services were under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.

Mrs. Doyal entered Glory Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Jordyne Alexa Salinas was born June 26, 1986 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She was the older of two children and only daughter of Jose Alberto Salinas Jr. and Suzette Nan (Spitzer) Salinas. Jordyne was raised in Cherokee and attended school there, graduating with Chiefs Class of 2004.

Jordyne then attended the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond where she studied kinesiology. Jordyne pledged the Delta Zeta Sorority and remained active in campus activities.

By chance, she became involved in a prank war with a young man in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. She was kidnapped and duct taped to a chair, and later given a ride home in the back of a truck. His name was Kyle Doyal, and this was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. They were the perfect couple, and later married on May 17, 2008 in Midwest City.

They first made their home in Edmond where they welcomed daughter Kori. By 2012, the young family was settled in Purcell, where they welcomed another daughter, Kodi.Jordyne was committed to being the best mother she could be, serving where ever needed. She volunteered as a Girl Scouts Leader and also at Life.Church Kids. Her work in the children’s ministry helped her to discover her true passion, and she eventually joined the staff as LifeKids Pastor at Life.Church in Norman.

Jordyne loved the Lord and had a true servant’s heart, and she genuinely loved nurturing children.  She was adventurous and loved being outdoors, and never missed an opportunity to visit the beach, or see the mountains. Jordyne cherished her girls and loved being their mommy. She was a devoted wife to Kyle; a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bert Salinas and Mary Salinas; uncle, Jessie Salinas and nephew, Jack Doyal.

Jordyne is survived by her husband Kyle and their daughters, Kori (11) and Kodi (4), all of the home; her parents, Jose and Suzette Salinas of Cherokee; brother, Trey Salinas and wife, Kori, of Kiowa, Kan., and nephew, Gabriel, of Kiowa, Kan.; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Jalene Doyal of Lone Grove, Okla.; grandparents, JC and Shirley Spitzer of Sayre, Okla.; sister-in-law, Kristi Briscoe and husband, Mike; nieces, Samantha Parsons and Bailey Briscoe of Lone Grove, Okla.; brother-in-law, Keith Doyal, niece, Hadi Doyal; nephew, Koy Doyal of Claremore, Okla., and a host of other family and friends and several, several cousins.
