Jimmy Lynn Smith passed away April 17, 2026 in Bakersfield, Calif.
Jim was born November 4, 1950 to Olen Ray and Jimmie Lois Smith. He was the third child of the couple.
He graduated from Purcell High School in 1969 and went on to the United States Army during Vietman. He went to work for Santa Fe Railroad and retired with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.
He is survived by three children, Kerry Young, Shannon Liew and Jeff Smith; wife, Dulce Smith of Bakersfield, California; siblings, Andrea Williams of Lexington, Angie Bottrell of Yukon, Vern D. Smith of Goldsby and Merribeth Marsh (deceased) and eight grandchildren.
Jim will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
