Funeral services for James William West, 85, of Tribbey were held Jan. 26, 2022 at the Memorial Assembly of God Church in Purcell. Interment was at the Ft. Still National Cemetery in Elgin under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Mr. West died Jan. 20, 2022.
He was born March 22, 1936 in Gracemont, Okla., one of 10 children of Gilmore Willie West and Golda Mae (Clark) West.
Survivors include his children, Paul West and wife, Gail, of Broken Arrow, Mike West and wife, Kenza, of Florida, Barry West and wife, Anita, of Elgin, Brian West and wife, Amy, of Parsons, Kan., Brandon West and wife, Kim, of Edmond and Maresa Bettes and husband, Brad, of Lexington; sisters, Cora Biehl of Midwest City and Pairlee Winstone and husband, Jerry, of Ninnekah, Okla.; brother, Kenneth West and wife, Sherry, of Alex, Okla.; 16 grandchildren and five great -grandchildren.
