Jacob Tyler Stockdale died November 12, 2024, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 29 years 7 months 16 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery in Lexington, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Jacob was born March 27, 1995, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Shawn and Kimberly (Calvert) Stockdale.
Raised in the community of Macomb, Jacob graduated from Macomb High School in 2014 and pursued his passion for craftsmanship by enrolling in the Welding program at the Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee With dedication and skill, Jacob embarked on a rewarding career as a Welder in the Oil and Gas industry, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
On February 20, 2021, in Noble, Oklahoma, he united in marriage with the love of his life, Stormie Adams, building a partnership that was filled with joy and mutual respect.
An avid outdoorsman, Jacob found solace and exhilaration in nature. He derived great pleasure from hunting, fishing, and spending time at the lake, along with the thrill of riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles. Among his many passions, Thanksgiving held a special place in his heart, as it provided an opportunity to gather with family and friends, celebrating love and togetherness.
Above all, Jacob’s greatest joy came from his children. He cherished the moments spent playing and creating lasting memories, embodying the essence of a devoted and nurturing father. His spirit, enthusiasm, and love will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Stockdale; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Sherry Calvert; and his uncle, Bryan Bacon.
Survivors include his wife, Stormie Stockdale; his children, Sawyer Stockdale, Emilia Stockdale and Lilly Stockdale; his parents, Shawn and Kimberly Stockdale; his paternal grandmother, Judy Stockdale; his sister, Shelby Stockdale; his aunt, Stephanie Calvert; his great-aunt, Christine Dryer; his mother-in-law, Melissa Lacquement; his father-in-law, Jack Adams and wife, Anita; his brother-in-law, Joshua Adams and wife, Becca; his sister-in-law, Ashley Hogan and husband, Joey; his grandparents-in-law, Donna and Emil Lacquement; his uncles, Isaac Stockdale and wife, Christina, and Larry Stockdale; and numerous other relatives and friends.
